The Listening Connection is a three-level series containing a broad collection of topics that enable learners to develop active vocabulary and listening skills. Theories provides opportunities not only to enrich learners' general knowledge of the world, but also to develop specific skills for listening to nonfiction materials.
Each book contains 12 units. The selection of stories is grouped into four themes: Animals, Places, Activities, and Science. Each unit has an accompanying video with engaging video material from all around the world and featuring voiceover narration, specifically adapted for learners of English.

正德（2641）7月合併營收達7,398萬元，年增17％，累計前7月合併營收達4.55億元，雙雙創下歷史同期新高記錄。展望後市，公司指出，下半年營運情況將隨著長租新船加入營運與航運景氣回穩而逐月向上提升。
正德指出，公司今年共有2艘1.65萬噸散裝貨輪新船分別在1月及4月加入營運，現自有船隊共計11艘，平均船齡為7.5年。公司目前正由亞太區域性散裝經營業者，向外發展至歐洲等遠洋市場，服務布局全球，象徵著另一新的里程碑的開始。
此外，從去年9月到今年6月止，正德投入營運的3艘新船均已與日本大型商社簽訂10年長期租約，短租續約部份，積極與租家洽談租金調整或尋找新租家相關事宜；而公司未來運營模式以簽定長期租約為主，短期出租或是自營方式為輔，營運以長租鎖定獲利為主，積極擴充船隊及增加長租比重，確保業績及獲利穩定成長，另短租船舶則用以因應景氣變化而彈性調整。
另一方面，正德指出，公司的船隊是以輕便型（Handysize）船舶為主，雖然國際油價大幅下跌，海運成本降低相對反應到運價下調，且鐵礦砂及大宗物資因價格下跌導致需求較低迷，造成波羅的海乾貨船綜合指數（BDI）走低，不過這對巴拿馬級（5萬噸到8萬噸Pamamax）以上船型較有實質影響，對輕便型的船舶營運與獲利影響不大。
因此，隨著今年7月18日BDI以748點創今年新高較今年最低點290上升158％，受運費上漲、融資環境改善、營運成本降低及新船下水大幅減少，且舊船拆解報廢的船舶多，供需調整等因素影響，第二季度中小散裝運輸企業盈利情況好轉；加上中國散裝運輸企業的景氣指數較上一季度上漲14.16％，信心指數也較上一季度上漲43％，估計此波BDI指數回暖有助整體航運業觸底反彈，下半年營運有望逐月向上提升。
